About Us

Welcome to Little Kubu Lodge, the perfect location to come and explore the magic of the beautiful South African bush. Situated just outside Kruger National Park, in the picturesque Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate, we offer a tranquil space where you can relax, unwind and immerse yourself in the local wildlife. Nature really is just on our doorstep with frequent visitors including giraffe, zebra, kudu, nyala, impala, jackal, warthog, bush baby, as well as a variety of birds and the occasional leopard and hyena. Our guests are welcome to explore the estate by car, foot or bicycle and experience the animals in their natural environment. Just down the road, the iconic Kruger National Park is home to Africa’s Big Five: elephant, rhino, lion, leopard and buffalo, which can be seen on arranged game drives and day trips into the Park during your stay.

The lodge offers six en-suite bedrooms, each with a private patio and a view over the pool and surrounding bush. Five of our rooms feature a king size four-poster bed, with one room available as an adjoining twin or double, making it the perfect option for families. All rooms are equipped with a flat screen television, bar fridge, Nespresso machine and other amenities to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Our guests are also welcome to make use of our shared lounge, bar, swimming pool, games room, fire pit and viewing deck, which overlooks the stunning Drakensburg Mountains.
